How is DSD done?
First, the dentist specializing in DSD, takes photographs of the patient's mouth, focusing on those specific areas that need to be addressed.
Then the specialist introduces these images into the software, which processes and converts parameters you can use to make the correct design of the smile you're looking for.
At this stage the patient can participate alongside the dentist because DSD technology program allows all modifications to get executed on the processed image, which reported a high degree of patient satisfaction itself feels part of your treatment.

The placement of dental implants has increased in recent years worldwide due to its high success rate, however, competition in this market results in a wide variety of dental implants vary in quality and price.
At Biodental Clinic we offer the dental implants of only the best quality (Straumann) which give us confidence that the outcome of treatment will be a long term success.
What is a dental implant?
A dental implant is a titanium screw that is surgically placed into the jawbone, replacing the tooth root artificially.
What benefits does a dental implant have?
There are at least four reasons to put a dental implant compared to conventional methods such as bridges.
1) Aesthetics.- Dental implants have been developed to achieve good stability and a restoration of natural look.
2) Bone conservation.-Dental implants transmit chewing strength to the jawbone, which can contribute to bone stimulation and thus preserve the bone. With other methods such as the bridge, this stimulus is not presented, so no loss of bone in the area of the missing tooth.
3) Conservation neighboring teeth.- If a lost tooth with a bridge is replaced, the adjacent teeth are worn to support the bridge. This does not happen with a dental implant.
4) Proven quality.- Dental implants have been proven in thousands of studies, which gives us the peace of mind that this treatment will be successful long term, giving the patient aesthetics and function.
The overdentures are removable acrylic dentures which are retained by dental implants, with the latter increasing the comfort and functionality that a conventional prosthesis can give.
Tooth loss is usually a traumatic event for the patient, reducing self-esteem and also causes chewing problems and hygiene, jeopardizing the health of the patient. it is very important to return the proper mastication of food, preventing the decline in the quality of the diet and increasing patient self-esteem.
When we have a good stability of the dental implant at the time of implant placement, it is possible to screw a temporary crown (Acrylic) the same day of the surgery, thus immediately returning the patient's cosmetic dentistry back, however, we don't return the functionality, since this crown will be left without occlusion for 3 or 4 months, which is what the healing takes, to allow osseointegration of dental implants.
Once the healing period of the dental implant takes place, we remove the temporary crown (acrylic) and put a final crown (ceramic) with which we can restore aesthetics and functionality.
When there is loss of one or more teeth, the bone surrounding the root of these teeth begins a process of irreversible bone resorption, with the passage of time this reabsorption can become so considerable that it is not possible to place an implant in that area because of the lack of bone volume, however, using bone grafts volume may be returnedso that we may place dental implants, returning aesthetics and functionality to the patient's mouth.
this corresponds to removing the dental nerve. It is applied in fractured teeth with deep cavities or injured.
Root canals are also conducted in prosthetic teeth (crowns, bridges, veneers)..
This can be done in one appointment or depending on the case and the situation of the tooth can be divided into two appointments within 10-15 days apart.
Orthodontics is the specialty of dentistry that is responsible for correcting malpositioned teeth and bones.
The Crooked teeth and those that do not fit together correctly are harder to keep clean, they are at risk of early loss due to cavaties and periodontal disease, and cause extra stress on the muscles of mastication that can generate headaches, ATM and various pains in the neck, shoulders and back syndrome. In addition, crooked teeth detract from our appearance.
Orthodontic treatments have the advantage of providing a healthy mouth, a nice looking smile and teeth most likely to last a lifetime.
Periodontics is the branch of dentistry that treats diseases of the gums and bone supporting the tooth.
Bad oral hygiene, poor brushing technique, smoking, etc. cause accumulation of food debris and other irritants that support growth of bacteria that produce chemicals that swell up and irritate the gums, causing bleeding.

In most cases it is an uncomplicated procedure (simple extraction).

The dental ultrasonic cleaning is performed with an apparatus using ultrasonic or high frequency vibration tearing off the tartar, it minimizes discomfort more than traditional instrument produces. Besides reducing working time, so it is convenient and fast.
The dental filling is a cosmetic dental restoration that can be used in fractured or decayed teeth. This material is tooth-colored so the result is an aesthetic restoration, besides being very durable.
Dental resins are used as an aesthetic alternative to regular amalgams and can be used also to correct cracks and crevices.
The vast majority of patients prefer to use these fillings over amalgams and there are several reasons for this: for some, the mercury used in amalgam is toxic. Some dentists are called "amalgam restorations", but in reality they contain more mercury than silver. On the other hand, our dental fillings are accepted by patients because they are a more advanced technology.
